French study cautions against growth hormone use citing possible stroke

This study, the results of which were posted in this article, suggests a possibility of stroke in children who took GH and were part of the control group between 1986 and 1996.  Of the over 6500 that were monitored, eleven suffered a stroke and four of them were fatal, all before the age of thirty.   As the article suggests, there could be other factors that contributed to the strokes other than GH therapy.

Like I have said numerous times:  If parents are so worried about how their children will be treated in school or in their careers, why do they not support legislation that would protect them from bullying or workplace discrimination instead of putting them at risk of future health complications down the road and for only two or three inches at most?
